PT Australasia LNG Indonesia (AALNG) projects, where Probolinggo LNG Hub which will be operational in 2020, will be able to meet the gas demand for power generation and industry in East Java.
Probolinggo LNG Hub is a project of cooperation AALNG and East Java Provincial Government through PT Petrogas Jatim Utama to realize a floating terminal of gas storage and regasification facilities (floating storage and regasification unit onshore unit).
Construction of regasification facilities, this unit can be regarded as pioneers, we were the first to build in Indonesia.
The project is also fundamental to anticipate a deficit of gas, which is getting bigger every year, said Arya Setyaki, President Director of PT Australasia LNG Indonesia.
