Skema Bontang Belum Final


    Skema pembangunan kilang baru atau new grass root refinery (NGRR) di Bontang, Kalimantan Timur belum final. Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) lebih condong pada penugasan kepada PT Pertamina. Alasannya, Skema itu lebih efektif mendorong percepatan pembangunan ketimbang public private partnership (PPP) atau kerjasama pemerintah dan badan usaha.

    Kementerian ESDM mengidentifikasi, PPPV butuh Waktu hingga dua tahun sampai dengan pemilihan pengembang proyek. Sementara kalau penugasan cepat bisa lima sampai delapan bulan, kami ingin yang cepat, bedanya bisa 1,5 tahun, kata Wakil Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mine-
ral (ESDM) Arcandra Tahar.

    Kementerian ESDM akan berkoordinasi lintas kementerian. Belum ketahuan target keputusan diambil. Selain Bontang, Arcandra bilang Pertamina juga masih menunggu jawaban dari Saudi Aramco terkait dengan komitmen dalam proyek kilang refinery development master plan (RDMP) Cilacap, Dumai, dan Balongan. Beberapa poin pembahasan proyek tersebut belum final.

Bontang scheme Not Yet Final


    The new refinery construction scheme or a new grass root refinery (NGRR) in Bontang, East Kalimantan is not yet final. Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) inclines to the assigning of PT Pertamina. The reason, the scheme more effective and speed up development rather than public private partnership (PPP) or the cooperation between the government and business entities.

    The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources identified, PPPV need time to two years until the election of the project developer. Meanwhile, if the assignment quickly be five to eight months, we want fast, the difference could be 1.5 years, said Deputy Minister of Energy and Resources Mineral (EMR) Arcandra Tahar.

    The Ministry of Energy will coordinate across ministries. The target has not caught a decision is taken. In addition to Bontang, Arcandra said Pertamina also still awaiting a reply from the Saudi Aramco-related commitments in the refinery project development master plan (RDMP) Cilacap, Dumai and Balongan.
