After the Managing Director and Vice President Director removed at once, now PT Pertamina is seeking the best candidates who will occupy the number one position in the government-owned company. Minister for State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Rini Soemarno said that it was likely candidates are from outside Pertamina president director. "We'll see. We see a lot of potential from outside Pertamina, he said.
However, he was reluctant to say more detail the criteria or the names of the prospective new boss Pertamina. According to Rini, the Ministry of SOEs still have a month to set a new leader. This time it was still awaiting the commissioners proposed the name of the replacement candidate Soetjipto. Government as shareholder had to wait for the proposals of the board of commissioners before appointing a new boss Pertamina. Setelah Dirut dan Wadirut dicopot sekaligus, kini PT Pertamina mencari kandidat-kandidat terbaik yang akan menempati posisi nomor satu di perusahaan milik pemerintah tersebut. Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) Rini Soemarno menuturkan bahwa tidak tertutup kemungkinan calon Dirut berasal dari luar Pertamina. "Nanti kami lihat. Kami lihat ada potensi-potensi dari luar Pertamina, ujarnya.
Namun, dia enggan menyebutkan lebih detail kriteria atau nama-nama calon bos baru Pertamina. Menurut Rini, Kementerian BUMN masih mempunyai waktu sebulan untuk menetapkan pimpinan baru. Saat ini pihaknya masih menunggu dewan komisaris mengajukan nama calon pengganti Dwi Soetjipto. Pemerintah sebagai pemegang saham harus menunggu usulan dari dewan komisaris sebelum menunjuk bos baru Pertamina. Nanti dewan komisaris melakukan rapat untuk memberikan usulan nama-nama calon pengganti. "Waktunya 30 hari. Sejak keputusan minggu lalu, maksimum 30 hari dari sekarang kami harus memilih Presdir jelasnya.
Sebelumnya, Menteri Koordinator Kemaritiman Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya bakal menilai calon Dirut Pertamina dengan kompetensi yang mereka miliki. "Salah satunya adalah mampu membuat Pertamina bisa lebih efisien dan produktif di tengah kompetisi global,” tuturnya.
Menurut dia, calon Dirut Pertamina belum bisa dipastikan dari internal atau justru eksternal. Yang paling penting, calon Dirut ini tetap mempunyai kompetensi. Artinya, tidak tertutup kemungkinan terdapat sosok pemimpin dari luar perusahaan yang akan memimpin Pertamina. Namun, dia belum menyebut nama-nama yang bakal diajukan untuk mengisi kursi tersebut.
Pencopotan Dwi Soetjipto sebagai Dirut juga memunculkan sosok Yenni Andayani yang kini menjabat pelaksana tugas sementara (Plt) direktur utama Pertamina. Sebelum menjadi Plt Dirut, perempuan berambut pendek itu menjabat direktur gas dan energi baru terbarukan Pertamina sejak 28 November 2014.
