April, CPP Matindok Start Distributes Gas

PT Pertamina EP, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina, began pumping gas (on stream) of the Central Processing Unit Plant (CPP) Matindok in Banggai, Central Sulawesi, in early April gas supplies from CPP Matindok planned to be allocated to PT PLN and PT Donggi Senoro LNG.

Development Director of PT Pertamina EP Herutama Trikoranto said, Pertamina EP has two CPP Donggi CPR is already on stream in April 2016 and the CPP Matindok be on stream in early April. The CPP investment value both reached US $ 762 million.

"Both will produce gas about 105 million standard cubic feet per day / MMSCFD and condensate of about 850 barrels per day (bpd)," he said in his official statement on Wednesday (29/3).

The gas supply from two CPP has been contracted to PT Donggi Senoro LNG by 85 MMSCFD until 2027. In addition, the gas supply will be absorbed by PLN by 20 MMSCFD from mid 2020. "We got the information, the company will absorb the gas from the CPP Matindok to PLTGU Central Section Sulawesi with a capacity of 150 megawatts (MW), "he said.

Herutama said the CPP Donggi and Matindok an important project for the oil and gas industry in Indonesia. The reason, this project plays an important role in maintaining and strengthening the position of Indonesia as a major LNG exporting countries in the World.

Operation Matindok CPP and CPP Donggi, will increase the contribution of the oil and gas sector in contributing foreign exchange for the country and increase revenue (PAD) for Banggai. Not only that, it is hoped some of the gas produced can be used to replace the fuel oil consumption in the country.

Furthermore, Herutama hope the presence of oil and gas projects and Donggi Matindok CPP can directly contribute to regional development. In the early stages, Pertamina EP has recruited best sons and daughters of the local area that escaped the strict selection to be able to participate in the operations of the CPP and CPP Matindok Donggi it.

"Through the process of direct recruitment by Pertamina EP in a number of high schools in Banggai and studying for a year in Cepu, a lot of labor of the locals working here," he said.

Matindok CPP and CPP Donggi receive gas supply from Block Matindok. Both CPP has complete facilities and implementing new efficient and environmentally friendly (Green Plant). This is because the gas produced from the earth's Banggai have impurities or other material content is high enough so we need to before the purification process can be sold to consumers.

Based on the calculation of the gas reserves and the results of the economic feasibility study for field development, Block Matindok expected to be able to produce for a period of 20 years. However, Pertamina EP is committed to conduct further exploration in the hope of finding new gas reserves in order to continue to support and support development in the region of Central Sulawesi.

April, CPP Matindok Mulai Salurkan Gas

PT Pertamina EP anak perusahaan PT Pertamina, mulai mengalirkan gas (on stream) dari Central Processing Unit Plant (CPP) Matindok di Kabupaten Banggai, Sulawesi Tengah, pada awal April  Pasokan gas dari CPP Matindok rencananya dialokasikan untuk PT PLN dan PT Donggi Senoro LNG.

Development Director PT Pertamina EP Herutama Trikoranto mengatakan, Pertamina EP memiliki dua CPP yaitu CPP Donggi yang sudah on stream April 2016 dan CPP Matindok yang akan on stream di awal April nanti. Nilai investasi kedua CPP tersebut tercatat mencapai US$ 762 juta.

“Keduanya akan menghasilkan gas sekitar 105 million standard cubic feet per day/ mmscfd dan kondesat sekitar 850 barel per hari (bph),” kata dia dalam keterangan resminya, Rabu (29/ 3) .

Pasokan gas dari dua CPP tersebut sudah terkontrak untuk PT Donggi Senoro LNG sebesar 85 mmscfd hingga 2027. Selain itu, pasokan gas juga akan diserap oleh PLN sebesar 20 mmscfd mulai pertengahan 2020. “Kami mendapat informasi, PLN akan menyerap gas dari CPP Matindok untuk PLTGU Sulawesi Bagian Tengah berkapasitas 150 megawatt (MW),” ujarnya.

Herutama mengatakan, CPP Donggi dan Matindok merupakan proyek yang penting bagi industri minyak dan gas bumi di Indonesia. Pasalnya, proyek ini berperan penting dalam mempertahankan dan memperkuat posisi Indonesia sebagai negara pengekspor LNG yang utama di Dunia.

Pengoperasian CPP Matindok dan CPP Donggi, akan meningkatkan kontribusi sektor minyak dan gas bumi dalam menyumbangkan devisa bagi negara dan menambah pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) bagi Kabupaten Banggai. Tidak hanya itu, diharapkan sebagian dari gas yang dihasilkan dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan konsumsi bahan bakar minyak dalam negeri.

Lebih lanjut, Herutama berharap keberadaan proyek migas CPP Matindok dan Donggi dapat langsung berkontribusi pada pembangunan daerah. Dalam tahap awal, Pertamina EP telah merekrut putra putri terbaik dari wilayah setempat yang lolos dari seleksi ketat untuk dapat turut berpartisipasi dalam operasional CPP Donggi dan CPP Matindok tersebut.

“Melalui proses rekrutmen langsung oleh Pertamina EP di sejumlah sekolah menengah atas di Banggai dan menempuh pendidikan selama setahun di Cepu, banyak tenaga kerja dari warga lokal bekerja di sini,” katanya.

CPP Matindok dan CPP Donggi mendapat pasokan gas dari Blok Matindok. Kedua CPP ini memiliki fasilitas lengkap dan mengimplementasikan teknologi baru yang efisien dan ramah lingkungan (Green Plant). Hal ini mengingat gas yang dihasilkan dari bumi Kabupaten Banggai ini memiliki impurities atau kandungan material lain yang cukup tinggi sehingga perlu dilakukan proses pemurnian sebalum dapat di jual ke konsumen.

Berdasarkan perhitungan terhadap cadangan gas dan hasil kajian kelayakan ekonomi untuk pengembangan lapangan, Blok Matindok diperkirakan akan mampu berproduksi untuk jangka waktu 20 tahun ke depan. Namun Pertamina EP berkomitmen untuk melakukan eksplorasi lanjutan dengan harapan untuk dapat menemukan cadangan gas baru agar dapat terus mendukung dan menunjang pembangunan di wilayah Sulawesi Tengah.
