Oil and gas operator, ExxonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) along Governmental Organization (NGO) formed Bapeka Maintenance Team of the village of Desa Cengungklung; Manukan, Katur Gayam subdistrict and village of the District Tengger Ngasem.
This formation also simultaneously training for three representatives from each village, on Thursday (30/3). "The discussions with the village and community leaders, we form teams to maintain the infrastructure that has been built EMCL in each village," said the representative EMCL, Feni Kumia Judiharti.
According to Feni, team building initiative is a good commitment from beneficiaries who needs to be appreciated. Training is done to provide support and motivation of the various parties, "This is a positive step from the community that I think is very good to be emulated in other villages," he added.
Feni hopes, through this Maintenance Team, help EMCL be fully utilized and sustained. According to him, the development of infrastructure is a supporting component in the development of human resources. Both of these if synergy could give a strong impetus will accelerate the improvement of people's lives.
As is known, in the village of Tengger some time ago EMCL has handed over development assistance restrooms, classrooms, teachers' Early Childhood Education (ECD) Tengger village. In the village Katur, have recently also been implemented handover paving roads.

EMCL Bentuk Tim Pemelihara Infrastruktur Desa di Ring Satu
Operator minyak dan gas bumi, EXXonMobil Cepu Limited (EMCL) bersama Lembaga Swadaya Masyarakat (LSM) Bapeka membentuk Tim Pemelihara Desa dari Desa Cengungklung; Manukan, Katur Kecamatan Gayam dan Desa Tengger Kecamatan Ngasem.
Pembentukan ini juga sekaligus pelatihan bagi tiga perwakilan dari masing-masing desa, pada Kamis (30/3). “Hasil diskusi dengan desa dan tokoh masyarakat, Tim ini kita bentuk untuk memelihara infrastruktur yang telah dibangun EMCL di masing-masing desa,” ucap perwakilan EMCL, Feni Kumia Judiharti.
Menurut Feni, inisiatif pembentukan tim ini merupakan komitmen baik dari masyarakat penerima bantuan yang perlu diapresiasi. Pelatihan yang dilakukan untuk memberi dukungan dan motivasi dari berbagai pihak, “Ini adalah langkah positif dari masyarakat yang menurut saya sangat baik untuk dicontoh di desa-desa lain,” imbuhnya.
Feni berharap, dengan adanya Tim Pemelihara ini, bantuan EMCL bisa dimanfaatkan secara maksimal dan berkelanjutan. Menurutnya, pengembangan infrastruktur merupakan komponen penunjang dalam pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Kedua hal ini jika disinergikan bisa memberi dorongan yang kuat akan mempercepat peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat.
Seperti diketahui, di Desa Tengger beberapa waktu lalu EMCL telah menyerahterimakan bantuan pembangunan toilet, ruang kelas, ruang guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) desa Tengger. Di Desa Katur, baru-baru ini juga telah dilaksanakan serah terima pembangunan jalan paving.
