Gas Market In Lampung

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara targeting additional six industrial customers in Lampung this year with total sales of 27 million m3 of gas. According to him, the use of gas fuel (BBG) in the industry will reduce the cost of production up to 40% compared to fossil fuels. "In terms of cost, there is efficiency. BBG price is only Rp 4,500 per m3, and the price tends to be stable unlike Fuel (BBM) fluctuating ". Other advantages, CNG is more environmentally friendly due to optimum combustion, and no guarantee of availability. "Whatever the needs of the industry, we will surely supply," he said.

PGN Lampung have pipes installed along Labuhan Maringgai to Bandar Lampung with three ends of the pipe in Tarahan, Soekarno Hatta, and Gatot Subroto so the installation of channels to new customers more easily. To achieve the target new customers, Wendi said, the company will continue to intensify the socialization of gas to industry players. "Marketing is two way. First, we went straight industrial companies. Secondly, they come themselves after hearing the testimony of the benefits from other companies, "he said.

Meanwhile, for household customers, PGN Lampung more expansive target set after the measurement and survey in 2016. The target that was originally only 12,000 subscribers, in improved up to 15,000 for the region Bandar Lampung.

Wendi added that the gas pipeline construction to household customers will soon be built in April or May this year and is targeted to start operating by the end of 2017. The use of gas to household customers, will save up to 70% for those who had previously used 12 kg of LPG. whereas for the 3 kg LPG subsidy will save 30% -40%. PGN Memburu Pelanggan 

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara  menargetkan tambahan enam pelanggan industri di Lampung pada tahun ini dengan total penjualan gas 27 juta m3. Sales Area Head PGN Lampung Wendi Purwanto mengatakan, pihaknya terus melakukan ekspansi untuk meningkatkan distribusi gas bumi di Lampung. Hari Senin (27/2), jumlah pelanggan industri dan pembangkit listrik mencapai 22 perusahaan antara lain PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara, hotel, perusahaan pakan ternak, pabrik pengeringan jagung, dan produsen minuman ringan.  Hari Selasa, (28/2) akan ada penambahan satu pelanggan lagi, jadi 23 pelanggan,” kata Wendi 

Menurutnya, penggunaan bahan bakar gas (BBG) di industri akan menekan biaya produksi hingga mencapai 40% dibandingkan dengan bahan bakar minyak. “Dari segi biaya, ada efisiensi. Harga BBG hanya Rp 4.500 per m3, dan harganya cenderung stabil tidak seperti Bahan Bakar Minyak (BBM) yang fluktuatif,”. Keuntungan lainnya, BBG lebih ramah lingkungan karena pembakaran optimal, serta ada jaminan ketersediaan. “Berapa pun kebutuhan industri, pasti akan kami pasok,” katanya.

PGN Lampung memiliki pipa yang terpasang sepanjang Labuhan Maringgai hingga Bandar Lampung dengan tiga ujung pipa yang ada di Tarahan, Soekarno Hatta, dan Gatot Subroto sehingga pemasangan saluran untuk pelanggan baru lebih mudah. Untuk mencapai target pelanggan baru, Wendi menuturkan, perseroan akan terus menggencarkan sosialisasi penggunaan gas ke pelaku industri. “Pemasarannya ada dua cara. Pertama, kami mendatangi langsung perusahaan industri. Kedua, mereka datang sendiri setelah mendengar testimoni keuntungan yang diperoleh dari perusahaan lain,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, untuk pelanggan rumah tangga, PGN Lampung mematok target yang lebih ekspansif setelah dilakukan pengukuran dan survei pada 2016. Target yang semula hanya 12.000 pelanggan, di di tingkatkan hingga mencapai 15.000 untuk Wilayah Bandar Lampung. 

Wendi menambahkan, konstruksi pipa gas untuk pelanggan rumah tangga akan segera dibangun pada April atau Mei tahun ini dan ditargetkan mulai beroperasi pada akhir 2017. Penggunaan gas untuk pelanggan rumah tangga, akan menghemat hingga 70% bagi yang sebelumnya menggunakan LPG 12 kg. sedangkan bagi pengguna LPG subsidi 3 kg akan menghemat 30%-40%. Harga BBG untuk rumah tangga di banderol Rp 2.950 per m3
