In addition, the government opens the data, making it easier for investors to offer. Deputy Minister of EMR, Arcandra Tahar said, with gross split, the government set a yield for oil block by 57% for investors and 43% government. As for the gas block for the results 52% contractors: 48% government.

"Base split adjusts the actual conditions of the field, during development through adjustment, both on variable components and progressive components," said Arcandra, Friday (19/5).
He added that the minimum requirements of exploration activities in conventional blocks adjust the condition of each block. If the data is sufficient, then the contractor must be proof of the prospect by drilling wells.
However, if the data on oil and gas blocks is not yet available or not sufficient, the government gives the condition of the investor to provide 2D or 3D seismic exploration commitment. While the minimum requirements for exploration commitments in non-conventional oil and gas blocks require the drilling of exploration wells in each oil and gas block.
Arcandra claims, the 2017 auction is different from 2016. This year potential investors could be ESDM and Upstream Oil and Gas Special Unit (SKK Migas). "Now we open" he said.
In this new way, the government hopes to make it easier for investment. In addition, the government also hopes that there will be a combination of strategic investors.
Director of Upstream Oil and Gas at the Ministry of ESDM Tunggal added that there are 14 oil and gas blocks auctioned annually, but there is only one block sold. "The one who bargained a lot in the Block, the winner is already there, because the letter has not been submitted, so it can not be told who wins the winning Director General of Oil and Gas," he said Friday (19/5).
Then the government evaluated 13 unsold blocks last year. The government has not determined the fate of the 13 blocks if they are re-auctioned, or not.

ESDM Optimistis Investor Minat Mengikuti Lelang 15 Blok
