PGN Absorbs Gas Pipe

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. Will become one of the buyers of gas pipeline from Abadi Square, Masela Block. Director of Upstream Chemical Industry Ministry of Industry Muhammad Khayam said the new industry needs 150 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMscfd) from the total allocation of 474 MMscfd from the Masela Block.

In addition to PT Pertamina interested in absorbing 200 MMscfd of Masela gas pipeline, PGN is also interested in becoming a buyer of gas, however, he does not know the volume that is likely to be absorbed issuers coded PGAS stock. Previously, several companies have been willing to buy Masela gas, namely PT Pupuk Indonesia, PT Kaltim Methanol Industries, PT Elsoro Multi Pratama, and PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. 

     When confirmed, PGN Trade Director Danny Praditya said, in principle, the company will optimize the utilization of domestic gas production in order to meet the industry, power plants and commercial needs. PGN will seek to optimize the utilization of domestic gas production to meet national needs.

PGN Serap Gas Pipa

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk. akan menjadi salah satu pembeli gas pipa dari Lapangan Abadi, Blok Masela. Direktur Industri Kimia Hulu Kementerian Perindustrian Muhammad Khayam mengatakan, industri memang baru membutuhkan gas pipa 150 juta kaki kubik per hari (MMscfd) dari alokasi total 474 MMscfd dari Blok Masela. 

Selain PT Pertamina yang berminat menyerap 200 MMscfd gas pipa Masela, PGN juga berminat menjadi pembeli gas tersebut, Namun, dia belum mengetahui volume yang kemungkinan akan diserap emiten berkode saham PGAS tersebut. Namun, dari total alokasi 474 MMscfd, masih ada sisa alokasi gas pipa Masela 124 MMscfd yang belum terserap.

Bahkan saya dengar lagi PGN juga mau ikut menjadi pembeli gas Masela. Menurutnya, saat ini pihaknya masih berkonsolidasi dengan calon pembeli gas Masela. Pasalnya, pembelian gas di kawasan tersebut harus disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan industri dan rencana pembangunan kawasan industri pengguna gas. “Tidak apa-apa kalau PGN mau masuk juga, nanti akan bermitra dengan swasta lain.

Sebelumnya, beberapa perusahaan telah bersedia membeli gas Masela, yakni PT Pupuk Indonesia, PT Kaltim Methanol Industri, PT Elsoro Multi Pratama, dan PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk. 

     Saat dikonfirmasi, Direktur Perdagangan PGN Danny Praditya mengatakan, secara prinsip perseroan akan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan produksi gas dalam negeri demi memenuhi industri, pembangkit listrik dan kebutuhan komersial.  PGN akan berupaya untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan produksi gas dalam negeri untuk memenuhi kebutuhan nasional.
