Until October, Oil and Gas Production Below Target

In the implementation of upstream oil and gas (oil and gas) business activities, production achievement until mid-October is still below the target of the State Budget (APBN) 2017. The government itself targets oil production in APBN 2017 of 815,000 barrels per day (bpd) and natural gas production of 7,821 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd).

Head of Program and Communications Division of Upstream Oil and Gas Upstream Business Unit (SKK) Migas Wisnu Prabawa Taher explained that oil production as of October 12, 2017 is 805,000 barrels per day (BOPD) and gas production is 7599 mmscfd.

"Total oil and gas production reached 2.16 million barrels oll equivalent per day (BOEPD)," said Wisnu. Unfortunately, he did not specify how much oil and gas production this October.

According to him, the achievement of oil and gas production in mid-October is only 98% of the target. Wisnu did not mention the cause of the unfulfilled oil and gas production target. Wisnu just said SKK Migas is optimistic that oil and gas production target in APBN 2017 can be achieved.

"Year to date for oil and gas production is still relatively stable, achieving about 98% of the target, Insha Allah end of year oil and gas production can reach the target," he added.

Hingga Oktober, Produksi Migas di Bawah Target

Dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan usaha hulu minyak dan gas bumi (migas), pencapaian produksi sampai pertengahan Oktober ini masih di bawah target Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Negara (APBN) 2017. Pemerintah sendiri menargetkan, produksi minyak dalam APBN 2017 sebesar 815.000 barel per hari (bph) dan produksi gas bumi sebesar 7.821 juta standar kaki kubik per hari (mmscfd).

Kepala Divisi Program dan Komunikasi Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu (SKK) Migas Wisnu Prabawa Taher menjelaskan, produksi minyak per 12 Oktober 2017 sebanyak 805.000 barel per hari (BOPD) dan produksi gas sebesar 7599 mmscfd.  

"Total produksi migas mencapai 2,16 juta barrel oll equivalent per day (BOEPD)," terang Wisnu. Sayangnya, ia tidak merinci berapa produksi minyak dan gas hingga Oktober ini.

Menurutnya, pencapaian produksi migas di pertengahan Oktober ini hanya 98% dari target. Wisnu tidak menyebut penyebab tidak tercapainya target produksi migas. Wisnu hanya bilang SKK Migas optimistis target produksi migas dalam APBN 2017 bisa tercapai.  

"Year to date untuk produksi migas masih relatif stabil, pencapaian sekitar 98% terhadap target. Insya Allah akhir tahun produksi migas bisa mencapai target," imbuhnya.
