Saka Accelerate Block Pangkah
PT Saka Energi Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN), finally obtained the approval of Sidayu field development in Pangkah Block, Gresik, at the beginning of this November.
President Director of Saka, Tumbur Parlindungan said, with the approval of Plan of Development (PoD), the company will accelerate the development. He targets, the field can be produced by the end of 2018.
"The target is 2018 end of production or early 2019," he said at the ESDM Ministry Office on Tuesday (21/11) "
Currently under the stage of Front End Engineering Design (FEED). The plan, infrastructure development will begin in 2018.
"Sudan begins development now, after next year's FEED builds two platforms," he explained.
Saka targets to drill five wells in Sidayu field with an average oil and gas production estimated at 10,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day [BOEPD]. Although it has not yet been decided in final but development, Sidayu Field requires a company fund of at least 50 million US dollars.
"Investments again counted about 50 million US dollars - 100 million US dollars is just development," said Tumbur.
Tumbur revealed the seriousness of Saka in developing Sidayu field as one of the field in Pangkah Block is expected to give big contribution to the company's production.
Currently, the company's average production reaches 57,000 BOEPD. This realization will continue to be improved as the development in several blocks is being done in Block Pangkah. In addition to Sidayu field that is prepared to produce there is Ujung Pangkah field that has been in production first.

PT Saka Energi Indonesia anak usaha PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) akhirnya memeroleh persetujuan pengembangan lapangan Sidayu di Blok Pangkah, Gresik, pada awal bulan November ini.
Direktur Utama Saka, Tumbur Parlindungan mengatakan, dengan disetujuinya Plan of Development (PoD), perusahaan akan melakukan percepatan pengembangan. Dia menargetkan, lapangan tersebut bisa berproduksi pada akhir tahun 2018.
“Targetnya 2018 akhir produksi atau 2019 awal," katanya di Kantor Kementerian ESDM, Selasa (21/11)"
Saat ini sedang dilakukan tahapan Front End Engineering Design (FEED). Rencananya, pembangunan infrastruktur akan dimulai pada tahun 2018.
"Sudan dimulai sekarang development, setelah FEED tahun depan membangun dua platform," paparnya.
Saka menargetkan mengebor lima sumur di lapangan Sidayu dengan produksi migas rata-rata diperkirakan mencapai 10.000 barel oil equivalen per day [BOEPD). Meskipun belum diputuskan secara final namun pengembangan, Lapangan Sidayu ini membutuhkan dana perusahaan minimal 50 juta dollar AS.
"lnvestasi lagi dihitung sekitar 50 juta dollar AS - 100 juta dollar AS itu development saja," ujar Tumbur.
Tumbur mengungkapkan keseriusan Saka dalam mengembangkan lapangan Sidayu sebagai salah satu lapangan di Blok Pangkah ini diharapkan memberikan kontribusi besar ke produksi perusahaan.
Saat ini, rata-rata produksi perusahaan mencapai 57.000 BOEPD. Realisasi ini akan terus ditingkatkan seiring pengembangan di beberapa blok yang sedang dilakukan yakni di Blok Pangkah. Selain lapangan Sidayu yang dipersiapkan untuk berproduksi terdapat lapangan Ujung Pangkah yang sudah terlebih dulu berproduksi.
