The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) will auction more than 20 working areas (WK) or oil and gas blocks last year, more than the oil and gas block auctioned last year, namely 15 oil and gas blocks, both conventional and non-conventional.
Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Arcandra Tahar stated, it focused on offering oil and gas blocks that are auctioned directly to investors.

"We see the success ratio yesterday 5 of 7. We will evaluate next week, after being evaluated, after that we will try to get it as soon as possible," he said at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
Arcandra expects the oil and gas block to be auctioned in February. At the first auction, eleven oil and gas blocks will be offered to investors. Details, eight conventional oil and gas blocks and three unconventional oil and gas blocks.

Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) akan melelang lebih dari 20 wilayah kerja (WK) atau blok migas tahun lalu jumlah tersebut Iebih banyak daripada blok migas yang dilelang tahun lalu, yakni 15 blok migas, baik konvensional maupun non-konvensional.
Wakil Menteri ESDM Arcandra Tahar menyatakan, pihaknya fokus menawarkan blok migas yang dilelang secara langsung ke investor.
"Kami lihat success rationya kemarin 5 dari 7. Kami akan evaluasi minggu depan. Setelah dievaluasi, setelah itu nanti berapa-nya kami usahakan secepatnya dibuka saja,” katanya di Kementerian ESDM.
Arcandra berharap blok migas dapat dilelang pada Februari mendatang. Pada lelang tahap pertama, sebelas blok migas akan ditawarkan kepada investor. Perinciannya, delapan blok migas konvensional dan tiga blok migas nonkonvensional.
