Care and re-work of the old well became the focus of PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero). This is done because the productivity of oil wells that they manage to fall, especially in Ogan Komering Block in South Sumatra. However, the company still set higher production target compared to last year's realization. Since Sunday (20/5/2018), Pertamina Hulu Energi fully manages Ogan Komering Block with profit sharing scheme based on gross production (gross split). The block is a termination block that expires on 28 February 2018.
By the government, the management is handed over to Pertamina. Initially, the Ogan Komering Block was managed by Pertamina with Jadestone Energy Ltd. By the end of 2017, the Ogan Komering Block produces 2,250 barrels of oil per day and 8.64 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD) of natural gas. This year, Pertamina targets production of 1,950 barrels of oil per day and 8.21 MMSCFD of natural gas. Productivity falls due to age of aging.
"The production decline is natural, we focus on the maintenance and re-work of the well," said Public Relations Manager of Upstream Pertamina Energi Ifki Sukarya.
President Director of Pertamina Hulu Energi Gunung Sardjono Hadi said oil and gas reserves are also being added, among others, by commercialization of undeveloped exploration wells. In addition to the Ogan Komering Block, Pertamina Hulu Energi also manages a number of termination blocks. Throughout 2017, Pertamina Hulu Energi produces 69,080 barrels of oil per day and 560.97 MMSCFD of natural gas. This year, the company targets production of 70,410 barrels of oil per day and 771.07 MMSCFD of natural gas.
Nationally, oil lifting production in Q1 / 2018 was 750,600 barrels per day or 94 percent of the 2018 state budget target. The realization of natural gas lifting was 1.139 million barrels of oil equivalent per day (BOEPD) or 95 percent of the targeted state budget (APBN). Head of Special Unit for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) Amien Sunaryadi said the company is expected to improve the maintenance and re-work of the wells to boost oil and gas production.

Perawatan Sumur Tua Bisa Menjadi Solusi
Perawatan dan kerja ulang sumur tua menjadi fokus PT Pertamina Hulu Energi, anak usaha PT Pertamina (Persero). Cara itu ditempuh karena produktivitas sumur-sumur minyak yang mereka kelola turun, khususnya di Blok Ogan Komering di Sumatera Selatan. Namun, perusahaan tetap mematok target produksi lebih tinggi dibandingkan realisasi tahun lalu. Sejak Minggu (20/5/2018), Pertamina Hulu Energi mengelola secara penuh Blok Ogan Komering dengan skema bagi hasil berdasar produksi bruto (gross split). Blok itu adalah blok terminasi yang habis masa kontraknya pada 28 Februari 2018.
Oleh pemerintah, pengelolaannya diserahkan kepada Pertamina. Semula, Blok Ogan Komering dikelola Pertamina bersama Jadestone Energy Ltd. Sampai akhir 2017, Blok Ogan Komering menghasilkan 2.250 barrel minyak per hari dan 8,64 juta standar kaki kubik per hari (MMSCFD) gas bumi. Tahun ini, Pertamina menargetkan produksi 1.950 barrel minyak per hari dan 8,21 MMSCFD gas bumi. Produktivitas turun karena usia sumur menua.
"Penurunan produksi itu alamiah. Kami fokus pada perawatan dan kerja ulang sumur,” ujar Manajer Hubungan Masyarakat Pertamina Hulu Energi Ifki Sukarya.
Direktur Utama Pertamina Hulu Energi Gunung Sardjono Hadi mengatakan, cadangan migas juga terus ditambah, antara lain, dilakukan dengan komersialisasi sumur eksplorasi yang belum dikembangkan. Selain Blok Ogan Komering, Pertamina Hulu Energi juga mengelola sejumlah blok terminasi. Sepanjang 2017, Pertamina Hulu Energi menghasilkan 69.080 barrel minyak per hari dan 560,97 MMSCFD gas bumi. Tahun ini, perusahaan menargetkan produksi sebanyak 70.410 barrel minyak per hari dan 771,07 MMSCFD gas bumi.
Secara nasional, produksi siap jual (lifting) minyak sampai triwulan I-2018 750.600 barrel per hari atau 94 persen dari target APBN 2018. Adapun realisasi lifting gas bumi 1,139 juta barrel setara minyak per hari (BOEPD) atau baru 95 persen dari target APBN. Kepala Satuan Kerja Khusus Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi (SKK Migas) Amien Sunaryadi mengatakan, perusahaan diharapkan meningkatkan perawatan dan kerja ulang sumur untuk mendorong produksi migas.
